Open the Firefox browser if you do not have it open already.

Select the "Tools" option from the browser's top menu bar.

Click on "Clear Recent History." A small pop up-box will appear. Choose the range of time that you want to clear from the drop-down menu. Check the box next to "Form & Search History," as well as those next to any other parts of the browser history you want to clear. Click "Clear Now."

Click on the "Tools" menu and choose "Options." You can set up the Firefox browser so that it clears your browsing history every time you close Firefox.

Click on "Privacy." Choose "Use custom setting for history" from the drop-down menu next to "Firefox will:". Check the box next to "Clear history when Firefox closes."

Click on the "Setting" button and choose the information that you wish Firefox to clear on closing. Click "OK" to close the settings menu and "OK" again to close the options menu.
Clear a Single Site

Click on "History" at the top of your Firefox browser and choose "Show All History." This will open the "Library" window.

Type the name of the website that you would like to delete from your search history and press "Enter."

Right-click on the website and choose "Forget About this Site" from the menu. This will delete every instance of the site from your history.
