How to Sync Google Calender
Storing a calender on a computer program can help you keep track of your schedule. However, many people have their work calendar on one program and a personal calendar on another. If you're using Microsoft Outlook and Google Calendar for this purpose, it's very easy to sync the calendars with one another so that you don't have to check each one—you can just open the calendar that's convenient.

Access your Google Calender account.

Locate the calender you want to import into Microsoft Outlook from the left-hand side of the screen beneath "My Calenders." Click on the drop-down arrow to the right of the calender you wish to import and click on "Calender Settings."

Scroll down until you see "Private Address" in bold letters on the left-hand side of the screen. Click on the "ICAL" option in that row. A dialogue box will pop up with an Internet address in it. Click the Internet address.

Select "OK" to import your Gmail calender into Microsoft Outlook.
Sync Microsoft Outlook with Google Calender

Select Calender from the left-hand side of your screen in Microsoft Outlook. Then, select "File" from the toolbar and click "Save As."

Enter the name you would like to save your calender as and then click "OK" then "Save."

Access your Google Calender account and click on "Settings" in the upper right-hand corner of the page. From the drop-down menu that appears, click on "Calender Settings."

Click on the "Calendars" tab that appears and then click on "Import Calendar." A dialogue box will pop up. Click the "Browse" button next to "Select File," and select the file that you created in Step 2 of this section. Click "Open." In the lower part of the dialogue box, choose which Google Calendar you would like to import the Microsoft Outlook calender data to.

Click "Import" to import the Microsoft Outlook calendar and finish the process.

Tips & Warnings
The imports of these calendars are static and not interactive. If you make an update in Google Calendar, it will not show up in Microsoft Outlook until you import an updated Google Calendar into Microsoft Outlook.
