How to Import Pictures From a Camera to Craigslist

Craigslist is an Internet-based classified ad service where people can find a new job, housing or a date; participate in discussion forums on a variety of issues; and buy and sell products and services. With all the traffic visiting the site, one thing that can make your ad stand out from the others is posting photographs to display the item you're selling and the condition it is in. While you can post photos imported from your hard drive, you can also import them directly from your digital camera if you choose.

Click "For Sale" if selling an item, or the particular section you want to post an ad in, and then click "Post" at the top right of the screen. Select and click the specific section where you want the ad posted, such as "household items."

Fill out the specific information for your ad, including the title, price and location, as well as the description and your email address. Then click the "Add/Edit Images" button below the description box. This will open a section allowing you to add up to four photographs to accompany your ad.

Click the first "Browse" button. This will open a new window for finding and selecting the photos. Click "Computer" in the left menu, and then click the drive your camera is connected to, such as "E: Removable Media."

Select the photo you want from the file folders of your camera and click "Open." The photo will load and be displayed with your ad. Repeat the process to add more photos if you choose, and click the "Continue" button when finished. Follow the on-screen prompts to finish your listing and post it to Craigslist.
