How to Remove the Search Bar in Firefox
Mozilla's Firefox web browser offers a number of ways to customize your Internet surfing experience. In addition to adding themes and add-ons, you can move, resize and remove Firefox's search bar. In Firefox's default state, the search bar sits in the upper-right corner of the screen.

Open Firefox. Click "View" and highlight "Toolbars" with your mouse.

Click "Customize" in the "Toolbars" menu. A "Customize Toolbar" box will open and your mouse pointer will change to a hand.

Left-click the search bar. Do not release the mouse button.

Drag the search bar onto the "Customize Toolbar" box. Release the left mouse button over the box to remove the search bar.

Click "Done."

Tips & Warnings
Restore your search bar by dragging it from the "Customize Toolbar" box and dropping it onto Firefox's toolbar.
Clicking "Restore Default Set" will also return your search bar.
