How to Tie a Scarf on a Curtain Rod
Using scarves as curtains is a cheap, yet chic, way to update the decor in a room. Depending on how you want to hang the scarves, it may be preferable to sew a seam into the fabric, through which you can thread the curtain rod. If you want multiple scarves on the same rod, it is simple to tie them and achieve a new look. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Remove the curtain rod from the window.

2
Fold the scarf in half.
-
-
3
Take the folded scarf in one hand and drape it over the curtain rod, with the folded part closer to the window.
-
4
Pull the folded part down, and loop it around the bottom of the scarf.
-
5
Pull down on the loose ends of the scarf to tighten it around the curtain rod. You have done this properly if the top of the scarf has a band of fabric across it before it reaches the bar. This band of fabric is the loop you originally created by folding the scarf in half.

Replace the curtain rod in the window.
