CD Shuriken
-
1
Lay your ruler vertically down the center of your CD. Draw a line with your permanent marker bisecting your CD. Turn the CD 90 degrees and repeat. The CD should be quartered by lines making a plus sign. Each line should stop at the outside of the clear ring surrounding the hole in the center of the CD.
-
2
Draw four more lines dividing each of your CD’s quarters in half. Your CD should have eight equal sections. Turn your CD so one of your lines bisects the CD vertically. Place your ruler so it connects the top of your vertical line with the base of the line to its left. Draw a line connecting these points. Repeat on the right. Turn your CD 90 degrees and repeat until you’ve drawn four points on your CD.

3
Drag your utility knife over your diagonal lines, cutting out a four-pointed star shape. Spray paint the shape black to finish your shuriken.
Cardboard Kunai Knife
-
4
Cut out the back panel of a cardboard cereal box. Draw a plus sign near one of the corners of the cardboard. The vertical line should be about 6 inches long while the horizontal line should be about 4 inches long. Connect the points of the plus with diagonal lines to create a long, thin diamond shape. Create a second diamond shape exactly like the first.
-
5
Cut out both of your diamonds and fold them gently along the plus sign lines. Do not make sharp creases; they should look more like dents that make your diamonds tent up slightly.
-
6
Spray paint your diamonds and your dowel rod black. Allow to dry for about an hour.
-
7
Hold one of your diamonds in your palm like a small bowl. Run a bead of white glue around the edge of the diamond and place the other on top of it. This should create a three-dimensional diamond shape. Let the glue dry for at least two hours.
-
8
Snip off the bottom point of your diamond and slip 2 inches of your dowel rod into the resulting hole. Staple the cardboard diamond in place and wrap the dowel with beige or white shoelaces for handle covering. Rub the edges and creases of your kunai blade with silver paint to give it shine.
Ninja Mask
-
9
Put on a black T-shirt so the neck opening frames your face, covering your hair completely. If your shirt has graphics on it, turn it inside out before putting it on.
-
10
Pick up the sleeves in each hand, holding them straight out from your head, in line with your ears. Bring them behind your head and knot them together.
-
11
Turn under the lower part of the neck and bring it up over your nose. Turn under the upper part of the neck and pull it down over your eyebrows so you can only see your eyes. You are ready for stealth missions of all kinds.
