How to Check Your MSN Hotmail

It may have been a while since you logged into your Hotmail account. MSN updates the Hotmail interface frequently, so the process of logging in may differ from the last time you accessed it. One major change made to Hotmail is that your Hotmail email address now serves as your Windows Live ID, which allows you to access all of the Windows Live services--including Messenger and Xbox LIVE--from one login.

Instructions

1. Open your computer’s web browser.

2. Navigate to Hotmail (see Resources for link).

3. Enter your Hotmail email address and password.

4. Click “Sign In.”

5. Click “Inbox” on the left side of the screen to check your mail.

Tips & Warnings

• Your Windows Live ID can also be used to access your MSN Messenger and Xbox LIVE accounts.
