How to Setup Apache on Linux

Apache, an open-source Web server, is used on the Linux operating system to host websites across the world. Install and set up Apache on your Linux server with just a few simple commands in the Linux Terminal.

Instructions

1. Open the Linux Terminal from your computer. A link to the Terminal is on the system menu and desktop of most Linux operating systems.

2. Type "sudo apt-get apache" onto the command line.

3. Press the "Enter" key.

4. Type in your root password and press the "Enter" key again.

5. Type "y" and press "Enter" when prompted to do so.
