Homemade Christmas Centerpieces
Centerpieces add color and interest to tables and your home decor, especially during the holidays. Making your own Christmas centerpieces does not have to be a challenging project. They can be made from items that you have around your home, and they do not have to cost a lot of money. Once you make the Christmas centerpieces, you can save and use them again the following year. Things You'll Need
- Potpourri
- Newspaper
- Spray paint
- Glass Mason jar
- Glass votive candleholder
- Candle
- Ribbon
- Oval mirror
- Three votive candles
- Artificial holly
- Ball ornaments
- Glass bowl
Instructions

Potpourri Jar Centerpiece

Spread out potpourri on sheets of newspaper.

Spray-paint the potpourri with your preferred color. Metallic paints look best for this centerpiece. Choose blue, green, red, silver or gold for a Christmas theme.

Allow the paint to dry. Turn over the potpourri, and spray-paint the other side. Allow this side to dry.

Fill a glass Mason jar with the potpourri. Set a glass votive candleholder on top.

Place a candle in the candleholder. Tie a piece of ribbon around the jar, then tie the ribbon into a bow.
Mirror and Candle Centerpiece

Set an oval mirror on the table.

Place three votive candles, evenly spaced, on the mirror.

Place sprigs of artificial holly around the edge of the mirror.
Christmas Ornament Centerpiece

Choose two colors of Christmas tree ball ornaments in coordinating colors such as red and green, red and gold, and gold and silver.

Place the ornaments in a large clear bowl.

Stack ornaments on top of each other to fill the bowl completely.
