How to Copy an Xbox ISO
An Xbox game that has been copied to a PC as an ISO digital file backup can be put onto a DVD for playing on a modified Xbox game console. The same kind of DVD copy program that is used to copy video files to a DVD will work with the Xbox ISO digital file. There are a number of DVD copy programs that can be used, most of them available for free, and all of them working in a similar and intuitive manner that makes them suitable for computer novices as well as the more experienced.

Download a DVD copy program to the PC’s desktop; for example, ImgBurn or DVDDecrypter, which are both free programs. Double-click on the file once downloaded. Follow the menu commands to install the program onto the PC’s hard drive. Restart the PC once the installation is finished.

Eject the disk tray of the DVD drive. Place a blank recordable DVD onto the disk tray. Close the disk tray.

Launch the DVD copy program by selecting it from the “Start, All Applications” pop-up menu.

Select the DVD drive from the “Devices” drop-down menu on the DVD copy program’s main screen.

Drag the ISO digital file from the PC’s hard drive onto the icon of the DVD copy program that is in the menu bar at the bottom right of the screen. Wait a few seconds for the ISO digital file to register on the DVD copy program’s main screen in the “Source” column.

Select the “Options” button on the DVD copy program’s main screen. Choose “4X” from the “Drive speed” drop down menu on the window that appears. Click the “Apply” button on the window. Click the “Done” button on the window to close the window.

Select “ISO” from the “Data” drop down menu on the DVD copy program’s main screen. Click the “Start” button at the bottom of the DVD copy program’s main screen.

Wait anywhere from 10 minutes to two hours as a progress bar appears and fills in from left to right. Quit the DVD copy program once the progress bar has completely been filled in.

Eject the disc tray of the DVD drive. Remove the DVD. Close the disc tray. Archive or delete the ISO digital file from the PC’s hard drive.

Tips & Warnings
Blow any dust or debris on the blank recordable DVD before putting it on the disk tray of the DVD drive.
Inexpensive blank recordable DVDs can develop disc errors weeks or even months after files have been copied to them.
