How to Hook Up a Game Cube to a Digital Converter Box thumbnail
You must use a digital converter box in order to watch programming on your analog TV.

If you have an older, analog-based television, you are required to use a digital converter box in order to watching programming on the TV. However, you may also run other devices through the digital converter box, such as the Nintendo GameCube gaming system. The GameCube provides its audio/video signal through RCA cables. If your television only has the standard coaxial cable input, you can use the converter box to change your RCA connection to the coaxial cable. This allows you to play the GameCube on any analog television that does not have RCA cable connections.
