Visit the Western Union website. Click "Send Money," and then click "Send Money Online." Sign in to your Western Union account, or click "Register Now" to sign up for a free account.

Select the state you are sending money from, and then select the country you want to send money to. Choose the type of online transfer you want to complete. You can choose "Money in Minutes," which becomes instantly available, "Overnight Home Delivery," in which a prepaid Western Union card is delivered to the recipient's home address, "Economy," in which the funds are available after 72 hours or "Direct to Bank," which transfers the funds directly to the person's checking account (within three days). Click "Continue" once you've made your selection.

Enter the recipient's first and last name, as well as his city and state. If you choose "Home Delivery," you'll need his address. If you are choosing "Direct to Bank," you'll need the person's bank account and routing number.

Enter the amount you wish to send and click "Continue." View the service charge for the selected transaction, and then click "Continue." Enter your payment information, double-check it for accuracy, and then submit your online transfer. Write down the confirmation number.
