How to Use a Coluzzle

Use a Coluzzle system to cut shapes out of paper.

Coluzzle is a template cutting system that features patented plastic templates, cutting mat and swivel blade or knife. Coluzzle allows you to cut items out more precisely than scissors because the blade rotates 360 degrees and makes small, precise cuts. You can use the templates to cut items and shapes for scrap-booking and making cards, stationery and paper dolls. Coluzzle can cut paper, photos, mats and light fabrics. There are a variety of plastic templates to choose from, such as boxes, alphabets, shapes, frames, borders and themed kits.

Things You'll Need

• Coluzzle mat
• Item to cut
• Coluzzle template
• Coluzzle blade

Instructions

1. Lay the foam mat flat on a flat, hard surface.

2. Lay the item you wish to cut flat on the foam mat.

3. Place the template you are cutting out over the item to be cut.

4. Place the swivel blade in the template. Press the blade down and move it, following the template. Never lift the blade; it will swivel and turn to follow any template.

5. Remove the template from the item being cut.

6. Lift up the item. You may have to gently push or pop out the item or it may fall out.

Tips & Warnings

• Only use the Coluzzle foam mat with the Coluzzle blade. The foam mat protects the surface you are cutting on from becoming damaged. The Coluzzle blade does not have a child lock or safety feature. Always keep the blade out of the reach of children.
