Things You'll Need

  • Walnuts in their shells
  • Gold leaf foil packet
  • Soft bristle brush
  • Liquid adhesive
  • Paintbrush
  • White cotton gloves

Instructions

    • 1

      Paint liquid adhesive on a walnut. Let the adhesive dry completely.

      Put on cotton gloves. Carefully lift one gold-leaf foil sheet from the packet.

      Tear off a piece of the foil, and drape it over the walnut. Smooth the foil over all the curves with your fingertips.

      Even out the texture of the gold leaf with the soft-bristle brush.

      Brush off any loose gold foil flakes.
