How to Use Parallels With a Zune
The Zune is a Windows-only portable media player from Microsoft. Parallels is a virtualization application that allows the user to install Windows on a Macintosh computer. When Apple made the switch to Intel-based processors, they shipped a utility called Boot Camp that allowed users to install Windows. The problem with Boot Camp is that the machine must boot into either Windows or Mac OS, requiring a restart to switch operating systems. Parallels allows the user to install Windows in a virtual machine, running Windows and Mac OS at the same time. Using Parallels, you can use the Zune with your Mac while continuing to use your Mac software and desktop.
