1
Redistribute your laundry in the washer if it is vibrating or thumping. Other causes of a vibrating washer are floors that are not rigid enough and forgetting to remove the packing materials from a new washer.
-
2
Tighten hose connections and check that the hose is in the drain far enough if you have water leaking around the washer. You may also have a clogged drain, which may require the assistance of a plumber to correct.
-
-
3
Reduce the amount of detergent you are using if you have a lot of suds.
-
4
Straighten out any kinks in the drain hose if the washer is failing to drain water from the machine. A clogged drain filter can also clog this problem.
-
5
Turn the water supply taps fully on if your washer is not filling with water and the supply taps are not fully open. Also look for kinks in the water line hose, a clogged inlet filter, a leak in the hose or low water pressure in your home. Turning on another faucet in the home will let you know if you are experiencing low water pressure.
-
6
Push the power cord into the wall outlet all the way if you are having problems getting the washer to come on. It must be securely plugged in. Also look for a blown fuse or tripped breaker and replace or reset if needed.
-
7
Open and re-close the door firmly if you can't get the cycle to start and are seeing error code "dE." Press the "START/PAUSE" button to see if that gets the cycle going. If not, the machine will need servicing.
-
8
Push the "CANCEL/DRAIN" button if the water level has gotten too high in the washer.
-
9
Use the "CLEAN WASHER" cycle to clean out any musty odors or buildup in the washer.
-
10
Add items or redistribute items if you get the error code "UE." For error code "tE," unplug and reconnect power after 60 seconds. For error code "PE" or "FE," you have a faulty water valve or water level sensor and need to call for service. For error code" LE," allow the washer to sit for 30 minutes to cool before restarting the cycle. Code "PF" just means that there was a power failure during the last cycle.
