How to Add Ink to a Stamp-Ever Stamp
Stamp-Ever stamps, manufactured by U.S. Stamp & Sign, are pre-inked stamps that don't require a replacement ink pad when the ink runs out. Instead, U.S. Stamp & Sign has designed Stamp-Ever stamps with a micro-porous gel that retains the ink beneath the raised pre-designed or custom image or text on the stamp. As a result, adding ink to a Stamp-Ever stamp isn't difficult. Simply purchase a bottle of stamp ink approved for use with Stamp-Ever pre-inked stamps, and apply it to the raised design.
Instructions
-
-
1
Lay two to three sheets of stacked paper on a flat, level surface.
-
2
Turn the Stamp-Ever stamp upside down so that you can see the porous stamp, and rest it on the paper.
-
-
3
Unscrew the lid on the ink bottle. Apply two to four drops of the ink onto the raised image and/or text on the stamp.
-
4
Set the stamp aside—still turned upside down—for at least 8 hours to give its micro-porous surface time to absorb the ink.
-
5
Blot the surface lightly with a paper towel to remove any excess ink, and then test the Stamp-Ever stamp by stamping a piece of paper. If the stamp won't print, repeat the re-inking process with additional ink. If the stamp prints with ink marks from areas other than the raised image and/or text, blot the surface, wipe the non-raised areas of the stamp, and then stamp the paper again to make sure that it prints without any accidental marks.

Tips & Warnings
Placing your Stamp-Ever stamp near a direct heat source such as a heater or oven or in sunlight can dry the ink and potentially damage the stamp's micro-porous surface.
