  • Premade custom countertop
  • Wooden dowels
  • Caulking gun
  • Silicone caulk

      Run a bead of silicone caulk along the upper edge of the base cabinets using the caulking gun.

      Place some wooden dowels across the bead of caulk and along the length of the cabinet. This will prevent the caulk from smearing when you insert the countertop.

      Place the countertop on top of the dowels.

    • 4

      Pull the dowels out carefully so the countertop drops into place and adheres to the caulk.
