Instructions

Cut a lemon in half and squeeze the juice into a bowl and mix with and equal amount of water. The acidity of lemon juice will reduce the appearance of the scar tissue naturally. You may also use the mixture without the water and apply lemon juice directly to your skin.

Cleanse your face with soap and water. Apply a generous amount of the mixture on the scar. Allow it to sit for five minutes. Cleaning your face prior to adding the mixture will remove any dirt. If you are having an allergic reaction, wash your face immediately. Wash your face and apply moisturizer.

Exfoliate and moisturize your face. Use an exfoliating soap and a loofah sponge. Exfoliating removes dead skin cells that may be causing the scar. You can find the soap and loofah sponge at any drug store.
