Things You'll Need

• Spray atomizers
• Eye dropper
• Eucalyptus essential oil
• Cotton balls
• Geranium essential oil

Instructions

Wintertime Homemade Air Freshener

1. Fill an empty atomizer with water. Add two drops of eucalyptus essential oil. Eucalyptus oil has antiseptic properties and is helpful and soothing to use during cold and flu season.

2. Spritz a cotton ball with your eucalyptus air freshener. Place the cotton ball in closets, attics or basements for continual air freshening.

3. 

   The barks and leaves of the eucalyptus tree are used for fragrant oils and medicines.

   Spray the air filter in your heating and ventilation system so you get a burst of eucalyptus air freshening whenever the heat goes on.

4. Freshen your room by squirting one or two squirts of your eucalyptus air freshener in the air.

Summertime Homemade Air Freshener

1. Combine two drops of geranium essential oil with plain water in an atomizer. Geranium oil has a pleasant floral fragrance, plus the scent repels insects.

2. Spritz your geranium air freshener near doorways to provide a welcoming fragrance, plus deter bugs from coming in.

3. Spray patio areas or outdoor rooms to add a fresh scent while repelling insects.

4. 

   Cotton balls sprayed with your air freshener will keep a room fresh for many days.

   Dampen cotton balls with your geranium air freshener and place them around the house, in the garage, or in garbage pails for continual air freshening.
