For this reason, you might decide to install fiberglass entry doors. These doors will last a long time and resist many of the problems that other exterior doors encounter like warping and rotting. You can even change the color of your doors, using special fiberglass stain in the color of your choice. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

Mask off any glass or areas of the doors you don’t want to get stain on, using wide painter's tape.

-
3
Dip a foam brush into fiberglass stain and run the brush around the rim of the can to let any excess stain drip off. Run the brush along a small section of the door and quickly rub the stain into the embossed texture with a cloth. Stain all of one surface of the doors this way.
-
4
Drag a china-bristle brush along the wet stain to even out the color and remove puddles. Let the stain dry after brushing it for as long as the product dictates.
-
5
Apply a clear, exterior polyurethane sealant over the completely dried stain by dipping a paintbrush lightly in the sealant and covering the stain with it. Apply two layers of this sealant, letting it dry according to the manufacturer’s directions.

Turn the doors to stain and seal each of the sides in the same way.
