The Jitterbug Dance Box Steps
A box step in dance refers to the square or box pattern the dancer makes on the floor with his or her feet. The box step is used in various dances, including the Jitterbug. The Jitterbug is a type of swing dance popularized by Cab Colloway's 1934 song "Call of the Jitterbug," in which people dance in a frenetic manner to big band music. The dance has retained much of its popularity due to the fact that it is very fun to perform. The best part is it's relatively easy to learn.
