How to Draw a Stick Figure Car
Not all of us have been blessed with the ability to draw intricate and life-like sketches. Drawing a car can be complex but there are times when doodling the stick figure car is acceptable. For example, during a game of Pictionary or illustrating a quick story, it is important to be able to draw the basic stick figure car so the receiving party can quickly interpret your drawing.

1
Lightly sketch the dimensions of the car. You will erase these lines later, so it’s not necessary to be perfect. Outline the body of the car with a box and draw circles for the wheels. Decide where the windshield and side windows will be placed.

Once you have appropriately figured out the dimensions, start outlining the car in a deeper tone by pressing harder on the paper. Outline the wheels, windshield and doors. Try to get your proportions and dimensions to be accurate, but this is a stick figure car, so it doesn’t have to be perfect. You can now erase the lines you drew earlier as a guide.

After you’ve outlined the vehicle, start adding the details. Do not forget rims, fenders, side mirrors, handles and steering wheel, if necessary. By this point, it should be very obvious that it is a car. If you are a visual sketcher, do not hesitate to research pictures of cars so the image is fresh in your mind.
