Instructions

1. Slowly raise the plunger from the back of the empty fountain pen.

2. Place the tip of the pen in the ink well.

3. Push the plunger back down into the pen while the tip is immersed in ink. You'll want to reinsert the plunger briskly, which will collapse the ink sac inside the pen.

4. Allow the pen to sit in the ink for 10 seconds. This allows the pressure inside the pen to dissipate and the sac to fill with ink.

5. Repeat steps 1 through 4 a second time to ensure that the pen is refilled.
