How to Use a Super Scissor Sharpener

Use the Super Scissor Sharpener on dull scissor blades.

The Super Sharpener set is an as-seen-on-TV tool that allows you to restore or improve upon a knife or other blade's original sharpness. The Super Scissor Sharpener is a component of the Super Sharpener that is specifically designed for use on dull scissor blades. Unlike stones and other common sharpening devices, the Super Sharpener restores and improves scissor blades safely in only a few strokes.

Instructions

1. Locate the scissor sharpener on the Super Sharpener apparatus. Look at the dual blade grooves and identify the groove marked with the word "Scissor" or a scissor-shaped icon.

2. Open your scissors so that the sharp sides of the blades are accessible.

3. Lay the scissor on a flat surface with the sharp side of one blade pointing up.

4. Line the Super Sharpener's scissor groove with the upward facing scissor blade.

5. Push down on the Super Sharpener and stroke from the base of the blade closest to the screw to the tip of the blade. Stroke the blade approximately five times, or until the blade is sufficiently sharp. Repeat Steps 3 through 5 for the other blade.
