How to Convert a Couch to a Sleeper Sofa
Adding a sleeper sofa or futon to your living room creates extra space and a place to host overnight guests. Functional as a couch during the day, and a bed, usually big enough for two people, at night, this piece of furniture will save you space and save your guests the nightly hotel rate. In a sleeper sofa, the bed is lodged underneath the cushions of the couch, and it is usually folded into three when in the sofa position. A futon, however, is usually just a mattress folded in half and turned to an upright position during the day.
