YouTube is an extremely popular website that showcases and makes available user submitted videos from all over the world. Millions of users a month log onto the website to watch everything from people to pets to politics. Many of these users send these videos to their friends and colleagues using YouTube's innovative system.

Instructions

      Go to the YouTube website and search for the video that you wish to place into an email by entering its name into the search bar located on YouTube's home page and pressing enter. Load the video by left-clicking on its name.

      Hover the mouse cursor over the rectangular "Share" button located beneath and to the right of the video, and left-click.

      Drag the mouse cursor to the small "email" icon located within the box that opens and left-click. Drag the mouse cursor to the "To" box located within the small, square box that opens and left-click within it. Using the keyboard, enter the recipient's email address.

      Left-click on the "Send" button.

Tips & Warnings

  • Once you click the "Send" button the window will close automatically and you will receive no further confirmation from YouTube that they have sent your video. Rest assured that, in the great majority of cases, they send the email within five minutes.

  • You can send a video to yourself by inserting your own email in the "To" box if you want to test the system.

  • Ensure that you correctly enter the recipient's email. The website will not prompt you to confirm this.

  • Sending multiple videos to a person's email account in a short period of time may result in your email address being flagged as a spam account.
