Weed & Feed Application Instructions

Weed and Feed is a fertilizer and weed control product manufactured by Vigoro. Weed and Feed provides up to two full months of feeding to your lawn, and helps the grass develop a rich, green appearance. The Weed and Feed product is available in two individual sizes to cover between 5,000 and 15,000 square feet of property. Select the proper size for your lawn application.

Instructions

1. Mow your lawn to your usual fresh-cut length approximately two days before applying the Weed and Feed.

2. Water the lawn well the day before you plan the Weed and Feed application.

3. Apply the Weed and Feed early in the morning to take advantage of the morning dew on the grass. The additional moisture will help the Weed and Feed granules adhere to the weeds. Water the area lightly after application to help the granules adhere if the grass is dry at the time of application.

4. Fill your spreader with Weed and Feed. Do not apply it by hand. Use the spreader for best results. Apply the Weed and Feed in a thin, even layer across the area.

5. Water the yard two to three days after application. Do not water the grass for at least two days after application to avoid washing away the Weed and Feed product.
