Sikaflex is an adhesive sealant manufactured by Sika Corporation. Sikaflex begins to cure upon exposure to the air, and requires at least 24 hours to be fully cured. The removal methods for Sikaflex will vary, depending on whether you wish to remove the uncured or cured product. When applying Sikaflex, wear protective gear, such as goggles and gloves. This product can cause irritation to the skin and eyes. Use Sikaflex in a well-ventilated area to avoid respiratory irritation.
Step 1
Remove Sikaflex from your skin as soon as it is exposed to the substance. TBP Converting recommends scrubbing your skin with water and an industrial-strength hand cleanser. Avoid using a solvent to cleanse your skin.

Soak a cloth in mineral oil and use it to scrub uncured Sikaflex. Another option is to use the manufacturer's Sika Remover-208. Apply it to a cloth and scrub the uncured material.
Step 3
Remove cured Sikaflex products by scraping the product with a razor blade or a putty knife. According to Sika Corporation, cured Sikaflex may only be removed mechanically; cleansing agents will not work.
