Holding a Calligraphy Fountain Pen Correctly
Calligraphy is basically formal handwriting done with a calligraphy pen and ink. Holding the calligraphy pen correctly while using the correct muscle group will result in a smooth, even pen stroke that does not fatigue the writer. It is important to use your entire arm and shoulder during the pen stroke. Using your fingers alone results in a cramped style, which is laborious and compromises the final result. Once you have mastered the calligraphy stroke, you will find your everyday handwriting is smoother and less tiring.
