Wait for the pitcher to get set and begin his windup.

Choose the direction you want to hit immediately after the pitch leaves the pitcher's hand. Press "W" to hit a straight fly ball, press "S" to hit a grounder, press "A" to hit the ball to the left and press "D" to hit the ball to the right. This does not guarantee where you'll hit the ball; it just allows you to aim for a general direction.

Press the space bar to swing your bat. If you want to bunt instead, press "5."
