How to Use LiveState Recovery to Copy a Hard Drive
LiveState Recovery is a Symantec system restore utility for servers. The application operates similar to the Windows System Restore feature. A system recovery point is first created using the software. The system recovery point copies the hard drives and saves the data as a system image file. To copy, or “clone,” a hard drive in LiveState, create a system recovery point using the application. The saved image file produced by the recovery point creation will provide a complete copy of the system, including the hard drive.

9
Click the “Finish” button. The LiveState Recovery software will create the recovery point. The process may take anywhere from 10 minutes to several hours depending on the volume of data and the size of the hard drive. A notification will appear when the recovery point has been created.
