Instructions

    • 1

Vacuum your parquet floors by using the hose and a soft brush attachment. Remove all dust and dirt that can scratch the surface of your floors. The attachment can help you get in floor crevices and hard to reach places, such as corners.

    • 2

Sweep the entire floor using a dust mop to remove all of the smaller particles the vacuum did not get.

    • 3

Mix together a half a cup of white wine vinegar to 1 cup of warm water. Dip a sponge mop into the water and squeeze it to get most of the water out.

    • 4

Mop the floor with the vinegar solution. Rinse with a solution of warm water. Rinse the mop in clean water and then go over the entire floor.

    • 5

Dry the floors with a clean towel if they seem overly wet. Do not allow water to stand on the parquet floors as this can cause the wood to swell and the floors can fall apart.

    • 6

Place throw rugs in high traffic areas once the floors have dried. This will help prevent the floors from getting dirty.
