General PVC glue or cement is used for PVC, CPVC and ABS pipe but may not be appropriate for the purpose you are utilizing the pipe for. Check the building codes in your area. For example, general PVC cement utilized on CPVC pipe may not pass inspection for the purpose of transporting water into your home.
