How to Remove Golf Spikes
Changing the spikes on your golf shoes should be part of your regular equipment maintenance. Daily golfers may want to replace theirs monthly, while the weekender may consider it an annual to-do. A trip to the local pro shop is not required to remove your golf shoe spikes. You can do it at home in little time, which can save money.

Tips & Warnings
Always keep extra spikes and the wrench in your golf bag. You never know when you'll need them on the course.
Cleat wrenches are sold in most pro shots and sporting goods stores.
According to the website Mr. Golf Etiquette, many golf courses have banned metal spikes because of their effect on putting greens. Check with the course beforehand about their spike rules.
