How to Apply for an Indian Visa for an American-Born Child

You may qualify for a five-year or a 10-year tourist visa.

Travisa Outsourcing Inc. works in partnership with the Indian Embassy to provide various visa services to those interested in visiting India. Typically, most foreign embassies do not require U.S. citizens to apply for visas for short-term stays. However, this is not the case with the Indian Embassy, as all United States citizens must apply for a visa.

One of the most common Indian visas is the tourist visa. If you are considering applying for this visa for your American-born child, apply early--it could take up to two weeks before your child’s visa is processed.
