How to Clean a Vick's Ultrasonic Humidifier

Unplug the Vicks humidifier. Remove the water tank and filter from the unit.

Discard excess water. Rinse both the filter and water tank with hot water.

Pour 1 gallon hot water and 1 tsp. chlorine bleach into the water tank.

Agitate the water tank so all parts of the water tank come into contact with the bleach solution. Let the water sit in the tank for 20 minutes.

Discard the water after 20 minutes, wipe the walls of the water tank and rinse the tank with clean hot water.
