How to Make a Dollar Money Tree
Money trees make an excellent gift for high school and college graduates as well as couples who are getting married. These individuals are making a new beginning and it is nice to be able to send them on their journey with a few extra dollars. The gift giver can create a small tree from which to hang plenty of dollar bills. The gift giver could also set the money tree out on a table at the party so that guests can add more dollar bills to the money tree.

3
Search for a small branch that has several smaller branches sticking out of it. Push the base of the small branch down in to the floral foam. Pushing the branch to 1 1/2 to 2 inches should be far enough to hold the money tree up.
-
4
Scrunch up a dollar bill in the middle and wrap a gold or silver twist tie around it. You only need to twist it around once in the back of the dollar bill.
-
5
Wrap the rest of the twist tie around one of the branches on the money tree.
-
6
Repeat steps 4 and 5 until your money tree is full.

You can spray paint your branches a gold or silver color before you begin. This is optional.
Only place a few dollar bills if you want others to contribute. Make sure you provide some twist ties for other guests to use to attach their dollars to the money tree.
