How to Become a Honda ATV Dealer

How to Become a Honda ATV Dealer thumbnail
Honda Powersports offers limited dealership opportunities in the United States.

Once considered a novelty purchase, ATVs have since exploded into the mainstream with ever growing popularity. Honda is a microcosm of this phenomenon, growing from just a few dealers in 1959 selling two motorcycle products, to the leader in unit sales per dealership in the powersports industry. If you want to join the Honda dealer network, you must undergo an application process. If you are invited to take the next step, Honda will help you maximize sales and growth through focusing on customer satisfaction.

Instructions

    • 1

Visit the Honda Powersports Products website and click on “Become a Dealer.” You must read the introduction and check the list below the introduction to find out whether a dealership opening exists in your location. If so, continue by clicking “Continue to Dealer Support.” If not, you cannot apply to become a dealer at that time.

    • 2

Read the support page and review all the products and services Honda Motorsports provides. You should become familiar with all offerings before applying to become a dealer. Next, click “Continue to FAQS.”

    • 3

Review all FAQs to understand some of the common questions and concerns potential dealers have. The FAQs help prospective dealers determine whether to continue with the application process. Then click, “Want to learn more about becoming a Honda dealer?”

    • 4

Complete the preliminary information request form and email to Honda at the email address provided. All the preliminary questions are provided in a PDF download (see Resources). Answer all questions and expect a return call from a Honda representative in approximately 45 business days.
