Homemade Snowboard Rack
Making your own snowboard rack to store snowboards is a very simple project that doesn’t require any special skills or special tools to accomplish. Do-it-yourselfer's that are also snowboarders, or have snowboarders in the family will enjoy making this useful and simple project that will help create a safe place for snowboard storage.

Cut a 45-degree angle from one end of a 4-inch by 4-inch wooden block. Use a miter saw to make the cut and any type of wood you'd like. Repeat this step with at least five more blocks of the same size.

Attach the first block onto the wall where you are going to be build your snowboard rack, about 5 feet from the floor and 2 feet from the corner. You’ll need a wall that measures at least 5-feet wide since snowboards generally start at a length of about 3 feet. To attach the block to the wall, place the block so that the 45-degree angle of the block is flush against the wall and then drill a 4-inch screw in from the outside of the block into the wall.

Attach a second block 2 1/2 feet to the right of the first. Attach this second block in the same manner as you attached the first. This will be your first shelf. With six blocks you should be able to make a snowboard rack that has three snowboard shelves just like this one. Make sure to attach the other shelves in the same way you attached the first.

Place the snowboards onto the shelves.
