How to Hide a Camera
Cameras used to capture images while you are not present are meant to be concealed. Hiding a camera will depend on the size of camera being used. One type of camera conducive to being hidden in several areas is a pinhole camera. This type of camera is wireless, which means no wires are needed to transmit images or video to the receiver.
Things You'll Need

- Wireless pinhole camera
- Drill bit

- Rubber cement

1
Identify an object that the pinhole camera can fit into neatly. This might be a smoke detector, a speaker or child's toy, for instance.
-
2
Remove any screws on the object with the screwdriver. Open the object and examine the inside to see where there is an available place to mount the pinhole camera.
-
-
3
Select a drill bit that is slightly larger than the size of the camera lens. This will ensure that the camera will fit without any problems.
-
4
Place the drill bit into the power drill and drill a hole in the front of the object where the camera lens will be located.
-
5
Turn on the camera and insert it into the hole you drilled; check to see if the picture is upright. Adjust the position of the camera, if necessary.
-
6
Remove the camera and apply rubber cement to the sides. Reinsert the camera into the object and wait at least 12 hours for the rubber cement to dry.
-
7
Turn on the camera to view or record the video.
-
8
Close the object and return to its original location.
