      Place the clothing on a flat surface.

      Blot excess olive oil with paper towels. Avoid rubbing the stain with the paper towels or you will spread it.

      Cover the olive oil completely with cornstarch. Allow the cornstarch to sit on the olive oil stain for 30 minutes. Brush excess cornstarch off with a soft-bristled brush.

      Apply a liquid laundry detergent directly to the stain. Rub the detergent into the olive oil stain.
