How to Win the Card Game Jitsu
"Club Penguin" is a massive multi-player online role-playing game (MMORPG) released and maintained by Disney. Players control a penguin that can chat with other players, customize living spaces and clothing and engage in a variety of mini-games with other players. One of the more popular mini-games is "Card-Jitsu," a simple card game reminiscent of Rock-Paper-Scissors and Rummy. Winning is a matter of skill, prediction and plenty of luck.

Speak with the Sensei in the upper-right corner of the Dojo to receive basic rules and a starter deck.

Click "Competition Mode" when asked how you want to play. The Sensei will automatically pair you up with another Club Penguin user.

Play one of your cards within 20 seconds to avoid having a random card played automatically. Your opponent will also play a card. Note that each card has a number and symbol on it, with the symbol designating the card as snow, fire or water. The card symbols will determine the winner: water beats fire, fire beats snow and snow beats water.

Play high-numbered cards when possible. In the event that both you and your opponent play cards of the same symbol, the card with the higher number will win.

Play a card with the number "10" to make the lowest-numbered card (instead of the highest-numbered card) win the following round. This tactic is an ideal strategy if you have plenty of low-numbered cards in your hand.

Win cards by winning a round. The losing card goes into the discard pile and is returned to the owner at the end of the game.

Win the game by winning one card of every symbol, which is also called a "run." Alternatively, you can win the game by winning three cards of the same symbol.

Predict what your opponent will play the following round. For instance, if your opponent has won two water cards, you can expect him to play a third water card for the win, so you should play a snow card to win the round. Note that a more clever opponent might expect you to do this and play a fire card for the win, so play accordingly.

Tips & Warnings
You earn different colored belts by winning several matches of Card-Jitsu against other players. You earn the black belt after winning more than 100 games. This allows your penguin to challenge the Sensei to a game.
Purchase decks of Card-Jitsu playing cards from a local store to receive special unlock codes. Entering these codes into the Club Penguin website will unlock powerful playing cards that will make your journey toward a black belt much shorter.
