How to Memorize Bible Songs
Bible songs are songs that contain words based on the scriptures in the Bible. Bible songs are not restricted to any particular age, gender or geographic location. They are sung by men, women, boys and girls from all around the world. When you are learning a new Bible song, it can often be difficult to remember the song. If you absolutely must memorize the song for a special program or if you just want to memorize the lyrics for yourself, there are some things you can do to help you do so quicker.

Read the Bible story that is related to the song. For some songs, especially children's songs, when you know the story it will be easier to recall the song. For example, there is a song that goes “Zacchaeus was a wee little man. He climbed up the sycamore tree. For the Lord He wanted to see.” When you know the story of Zacchaeus, you can see the story being played out in your mind as you sing the words.

Commit any verse of scripture that may be in the song to memory by reciting the scripture over and over until you can say it without thinking about it. Focus only on the scripture verses instead of the musicality of the song.

Incorporate body actions to emphasize the words of the song. For example, in the song “I'm in The Lord's Army” you can use hand actions to signal the words “Shoot The Artillery” and march in place to signal the words “March In The Calvary.” If you have to sing the song in a public location, you can mentally do the body actions instead of physically doing them. No one will know but you.

Practice the Bible song over and over until you can sing it without struggling to memorize the words. The more you practice the quicker you will memorize all of the words. If you like, you can make it a point to remember one verse of the song each day. Just practice that verse the entire day. The next day, add the second verse to the first verse and just practice the second and first verses of the song all day. Keep doing this until the whole song is memorized.

Watch The BIBLE Song (rap and sing) lyric video on youtube. People everywhere are learning how to recite all the books of the bible by learning this song. This has been called by many parents and teachers "the best rap of the bible ever heard." People of all ages love it. Some kids "just can't stop singing it" after hearing it.
