How to Install a Linksys Wireless B PCI Card
A Linksys Wireless B PCI Card allows you to expand your network and connect to the Internet. Installing an internal network card is a quick and efficient way to upgrade your computer. In most cases, internal wireless cards have a better range than USB wireless adapters.

Unscrew the case of your computer. Touch the power supply to release any static electricity in your hands.

Locate an open PCI slot on your computer's motherboard. The PCI slots are white in color. There are typically several in a row, at least two and up to four. Carefully position the PCI network card into the slot and firmly press down until the card is securely seated in the slot.

Screw the PCI card onto the body of your computer.

Close the case and screw it shut. Screw the antenna onto the network card and position it toward the ceiling to get the best reception.

Power on your PC. Your computer should automatically detect the presence of the new PCI card. Insert the disc that came with the network card. Follow the prompts to install the hardware driver.
