You can deactivate Flash CS4 through the online tool.

Flash CS4 is part of the Adobe Creative Suite 4 software package. With Flash, you can design animations and graphics and export them to a website. When you purchase a license for Flash CS4, you receive an activation key that you can use on a maximum of two computers. If you want to install Flash CS4 on a third computer, you will have to first go through the online deactivation process from one of the other computers where Flash is already installed.

Instructions

    • 1

Log on to your computer with an account that has administrative privileges.

    • 2

Launch the Adobe Flash CS4 application, but make sure no files are open.

    • 3

Go to "Help" in the top menu bar and select the "Deactivate" option.

    • 4

Check the box next to "Erase my serial number from this computer after deactivation completes."

    • 5

Click on the "Deactivate" button at the bottom of the window to begin the online deactivation process.

    • 6

Hit "OK" to close the deactivation tool. Adobe Flash CS4 will automatically quit, and you will now be able to install the program on another computer.
