How to Replace Quickbooks

Quickbooks is a small business accounting program that enables you to keep track of the cash flow for your business. Replacing the Quickbooks program is necessary when you have another accounting program in mind for use, either due to superior features or functionality of the new program. Accomplish this by uninstalling Quickbooks from your business computer and installing the new program in its place.

• Installation disc for your new accounting program

Instructions

1. Click "Start," "Control Panel," and click "Programs and Features."

2. Highlight "Quickbooks" and select "Remove."

3. Restart the computer to complete the uninstall.

4. Insert the disc for your new accounting program.

5. Click "Start," "Computer," click your optical drive, and double-click "Setup.exe." Select "Install" and follow the onscreen instructions (e.g. accepting the license terms) to install the software.
