      Set your washing machine to the gentle cycle, on the cold setting and pour mild laundry detergent into the washing machine and start the cycle to allow it to fill with water. For white Egyptian cotton, add 1 cup of non-chlorine bleach to the washing machine as well.

      Close the lid of the machine, once it has completely filled with water and allow it to agitate for a few seconds. This ensures that the detergent is completely dissolved in the water.

      Add only the Egyptian cotton to the washing machine and let the machine run the full wash cycle. Washing the Egyptian cotton alone prevents it from being damaged in the wash by other clothing items.

      Hang the Egyptian cotton to air dry, or tumble dry on low. Egyptian cotton can be ironed on warm if desired.

Tips & Warnings

  • Cold water should be used to prevent shrinkage. To reduce wrinkling, remove your Egyptian cotton from the dryer as soon as the dryer cycle has finished.
