How to Detect Wireless USB LAN Adapter Types
If you want to know what type of wireless USB local area network (LAN) adapter you're using, you don't necessarily need to locate its original packaging or instruction manual. As long as the device is connected to your computer, the Windows operating system will be able to tell you exactly what type of device you're using. This is accomplished using the Device Manager, which is a native Windows utility that keeps track of all of your hardware.
