Things You'll Need

  • Hot water
  • 2 tbsp. dishwashing soap
  • Abrasive sponge
  • Vinegar
  • Spray bottle
  • Butter knife

Instructions

      Fill your sink with very hot water and 2 tbsp. of dishwashing soap.

      Soak the glass bottle in very hot water. Allow it to soak for 15 minutes.

      Peel the label off the bottle. Scrape the remaining residue off with an abrasive sponge.

      Rinse the jar and allow it to air dry.

      Apply vinegar to the bottle if sticky residue remains. Pour vinegar into a spray bottle, spray on the jar, and soak the residue for 10 minutes. Scrape the residue off with a dull butter knife.
